Chris Kuroda wasn't on lights and Fenton Williams sat in. The timing was off on a lot of the sequences, and I think this threw the band off quite a bit also. It kept the band pretty constrained.

I am a newish Phish fan. Got into them around 2004, they broke up for 5 years and all the 2009 shows sold out before I could go. So I have never seen them live before but listen at home all the time.
