I miss when phish used to sprinkle their shows w 2 or 3 or more ballads and play songs such as Mexican cousin. Does being sober kill treys love of gorgeous melodies?

Been downloading some old shows... just got this one (I WAS NOT AT THE SHOW) and what a treat. This is an easy one to overlook, but it's a keeper. BOAF & Stash absolutely took me to a different dimension and the overall sound quality is spectacular. Junta and I agree, those that dismiss 03 - and 04 for that matter, simply haven't been listening. It's unphair to the rest of the rock n roll world (now take note, this is indisputable), that a band, supposedly in decline, can lap the field so easily, but they do it here, they do it anywhere time and time again. Get used to it. CPR just out and about.

I was at this show - sat front row, right in front of Trey. It's hard to find a better show than this, in my opinion. The band was just hitting stride after a rough start post hiatus. Runaway Jim, Twist, Stash, Divided Sky, YEM=>Lion King Vocal Jam... This is a great moment in time for the group, really recommend adding to archives!!

I was at this show and gave it another spin just yesterday and I would give it a 7/10. Highlights in the first set are the well played Coil, Stash, and the BIRDS! Set two is better than the first and includes an extended and spacy Moma, followed by a SICK Limb By Limb that has to be heard. A good show, but there are better.

As time goes on, I think this tour is going to be increasingly overlooked. And that`s a shame because there are so many tasty nuggets sprinkled throughout the tour and each show that to gloss over them would be a big mistake. While this particular show isn`t a history-maker on a whole, it has moments of glory that are absolutely worthy of attention.
The set closing "Walls" is quite good, especially for such a new song, hinting at great things to come with the tune. "Divided" is as great as, if not better than, many of the revered pre-hiatus performances. And "YEM" is outstanding, and made all the more memorable by the a-capella tag of "Lion Sleeps."
The one-two punch of old and new in the encore ends the show nicely...and hey, how can anyone not love "Mexican Cousin" for a short n` sweet I-IV capper?

I can remember leaving this show disappointed. The music was good, but I felt the inspiration and creativity was lacking, the reason I continue to go see live Phish. No unique jams ever seemed to develop.

It`s been over a year since the show in Denver. I wanted to wait and download the show after I had time to digest it and a few more Phish shows. Listening to it confirmed what I felt that night in Denver: A Truly Magical Music Ride. That night I thought I had seen one of, if not the best, Phish shows i had ever seen. The joy of reliving that night proved that I wasn`t just glad to have the group back live. The show in Denver, with it`s wide variety of material for everyone, is truly one of the greatest shows I`ve had the pleasure to see the Phish perform.
