I was very emotional for this supposed "last" show. I had a very large joint rolled up with the letters YEM written on it. My buddy looks at e as the encore is about to start as if to say, "well?" I looked at him and said "There's only one song that gets this joint smoked!". Sure enough, they gave it to us.
Now, I know how we phans tend towards hyperbole, and I had seen many YEM's before this one. Maybe it was the over sized super dank joint. Maybe it was the cool San Francisco air. Whatever it was- I was into this YEM like no other. I danced my little ass off!
I won't get crazy and call this the best YEM ever. I will say it's the most fun I ever had listening to that epic tune.
Adios amigos!

Average to a tick above average show. For the year maybe it gets an above average grade.
Best Gin ever ?? Whoever made that call is insane. Not even close.

I guess they posted the show for posterity sake because if you want to hear a hot tight show from 2000 pick up the Alpine Valley show.

Personal hilights are 2001>Tweezer ... love the transition and the crowd reaction .

When we saw them braking up online live from Thomas and Mack I knew this was it... so we took our kids to their first shows.

Word was we were going to get Abbey Road. Well, that didn't turn out to be the case. However, it was a great show. It was the end of a chapter for Phish's career, and in retrospect it was the end of a chapter for my life as well. Good times.

This show really jams. The sound quality is great. Looking forward to hearing the Hampton shows this weekend. See you in Asheville. Keep jamming.

Bathtub? What about First Tube? What about 2001?

Yes, a wonderful Bathtub Gin. One of my favorite jams of all time. Pretty amazing stuff, it`s perfect from start to finish.

Best Bathtub ever. There I said it. Maybe not THE best, but it is definitely up there. So smooth, so well played and so unbelievably freeing. The four of them were in total synch. Go for a drive, roll down the windows and turn this UP!!!!
