Must say that this was an amazing show for me. I had never heard fee in all my years of touring and I heard it on the eve of their hiatus (yay!). Meatstick was sick, and the Japanese lyrics cracked me up! Awesome show! Anyways... its a treat to have such amazing quality CD`s of this because generally music from the tapers have a overwhelming bassy sound... and these don`t! Woo hoo! Thanks guys for this kick down. It is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!

Well, to start off, I think it`s amazing that Phish is cool enough to let us download their brilliant live performances. As far as my enjoyment of 10/07/00 at Shorline goes, I was floored by the entire thing. Amazing Mikes Groove, in it`s original form, and the japanese lyrics in Meatstick were quite a shock. All in all I would say what a way to end an era, I`m glad the boys are back, now all I need are some Canadian tour dates...

Best tweezer reprise EVER.

I`m not the P.J.O`Rourke type that likes to critique shows. I could never fathem why people attempt to disect every fine detail of the band`s performance. However, I feel compelled to share my Shoreline 2000 experience. After reading the article in Newsweek about the band`s plans to take an extended hiatus, I knew I needed to make it out to Cali. Anywho, I was online shortly after the reading the article and unconsciously submitted a request on Priceline for a roundtrip ticket for $200 from Charlotte to San Fran. When I received confirmation that my request was accepted and confirmed my jaw dropped in astonishment. Suddenly, my desk was transformed into a set of hand drums as the chorus to the classic J.J. Cale tune began to play in my head, "Going out west we`re they`ll appreciate me." So, I embark on my odyssey out west with nowhere to stay and no one to travel with. The entire experience was surreal. It was like I stepped into a time warp. Cali is soooo laid back! Super cool! Anyway, on with the show. I am not gonna to comment too much about individual songs except that the jam in Bathtub was incredible. The jam elevated to a climatic release as usual, but in a more subtle, aesthetic fashion. It was so beautiful that the my eyes began to tear as I realized this was the last show before the band`s much dreaded hiatus. This show is worth adding to your collection if you havn`t already. Before I conclude, I just want to say Welcome Back! I had a blast in NYC and Hampton! Look forward to seeing all you crazy PHREAKS in Vegas and Greensboro!

No joke, the show is not bad. The YEM says it all man.

This was a historic show, and those involved in its production knew this at the time. The playing reflects that - so alright, it isn`t their best show ever. But it is definately worth listening to.
The format of livephish.com is excellent - it`s refreshing to see a group embracing technology instead of running from it. It`s all about giving people something for their money. This site does that, and I have my money ready.

This show holds a special place in my heart. I flew clear across the country from Delaware. My friend Frank got the tickets and used it as an excuse for me to visit the crew in San Fran. We had gone to Camp Oswego together!
We had no idea it was going to be the last show. I remember just hearing Phish leading into 2001 and going nuts. Great Show!!!! Wish I had New Year`s 2003 tickets.....mailorder....errr email-order didn`t come thru and ebay was way too $$$$. I got Spectrum in Feb and am stoked!!! Can`t wait.
Welcome Back!

I thought that this was an excellent show and was worthy of a final performance before taking a pause.
However, what I applaud most about this is the model that Phish is proposing. Unlike major label digital music services such as Rhapsody and Pressplay, Phish is allowing fans to purchase unrestricted digital formats, which are compatible with existing mp3 players, burners, and stereos. I am going to support this effort because I belive that this is the way digital music should be distributed -- the way the *audience* wants it, not the way the major labels want. Bravo.
