The most incredible concert from start to finish I will ever hear...Folks this is one of the best played Phish shows in their history! I was lucky enough to have been there.. This was truly unique and fired on all cylinders and runs the gamete of what this band is capable of! This is a must hear show for any fan of music much less PHISH!

As much as I wanna call Zaxon Elie crazy, he isn't... but I do think he is wrong about some things. First off, I wouldn't put this show at the bottom of this tour. I'd would say 11/17, 11/19, 11/21, 11/22, 11/29 (if only for the Runaway Jim) 12/06 (2nd set might be Phish's best...) and 12/11 (Drowned is ridiculous!) may be better shows, but 12/07 is close on it's heels. Elie is right though: this show doesn't have any long jams to "sink your teeth into" but that's besides the point. This is easily the pinnacle of Phish's tightness as a band. AC/DC->Psycho Killer->JJLC is absolutely flawless, and is Wolfmans->Boogie On->Reba. This whole show sounds like it was composed beforehand, which is really it's charm. Also, this is the origins of the funky Tube.

As for what LivePhish needs to add more of... obviously Fall 97, also Europe Summer 97 (L'Aeronef anyone?!)... I also think some more Europe 98 and Japan 2000 (I know it was only 7 shows but they are speecial). More shit with horns, more summer 95 and good 99's. I don't think LivePhish will ever realize 11/02/98... it doesn't seem their style. Plus they probably don't want the masses hearing Fishman's wailing in Great Gig in the Sky. Seek that show out for yourselves people, it's essential.

Also, where to start with Fall 97: 11/17 (LivePhish), 11/22, 12/6 and 12/11. All excellent shows.
