8/3/2003 It, Loring Air Force Base , Limestone, ME

I had a blast at IT, drove almost 2000 miles one way, by myself, to be there. The 'Ghost' alone was pretty much worth it. Dynamic and rocking out of the gate, it built to several peaks. Two of these peaks, about 12 and 17 minutes in (I think), pulled together all of the energy from the band and the audience. THAT is why I love this band. Watch the PBS documentary, and they have a small clip capturing those peaks, complete with a mind blowing glowstick war. No matter what era of Phish you may prefer, IT provided a phenomenal pair of shows. Please come to the South this year guys!

Su-weet jam here, got my phones on right this very second. This is a tight show, really recommend it if you have not heard it. Keep jamming America, see you in Asheville this summer.

Agreed. In my opinion one of the best Ghost`s ever

I must say, with ghost being one of my top phish songs, due to the potential for dynamic and structured improv, this one takes the cake...gordon and fish just seem to be spot on, and trey`s melodies seem to blend with page for a rather rockin concoction

Couldn`t agree more with darien93.........they should have ended it here. GREAT final 2 nights to wrap things up. Winter 2003 and 2004 were a TOTAL letdown.

The continued reviews of this show are a testament to why PHISH is still alive, in all of us who still care enough to dabate about setlist and crowd vibes! I saw every show from it to Coventry and while there was a serious decline after MIAMI, there was still a ton a sick ass shit to be seen!!! In fact most of the shows after vagas were good a few great and a few so so, but none were bad until the final sad weekend that was Coventry, the vibe was sad, the music was fair at best, possibly the worst performance in ever, but i wouldnt trade a moment of any of the year between the It and Coventry. I made a bunch of friends, sold ceasar and ranch chicken wraps in the lot, and nailed my sexy ass x lady in my 1974 Chevy Cobra RV with red shag carpet. I was 23/24 then. i just hope the boys dont wait to long! because there is more road to be traveled more friends to be made and more sexy ass hippie chicks to be boned!

Man, looking over these setlists really brings me back. I recall the incredible fireworks during "Good Times..." and the crowd chant for "Fluffhead." I really thought we were going to get it, but "Mike said `no`". :-) I don`t remember the songs at all. 1st night rocked!
