this was a great show. it was raw. good to see the boys having fun and really exploring the jams. starting with chalkdust seemed like an interesting choice. alot of good jams and older material. it was good to see Holdsworth(and Marshall, too). there was alot of emotion out there when he came out. not one of their more flawless performances, but that`s not what its about. YEM was a great highlight w/the vocal jam. great show!

This was my first show, and I know that it will not be my last. Jeff Holdsworth and Tom Marshall, in one show. When "Chalkdust Torture" opened, I knew it was going to be an amazing night. Page`s voice on "Good Times, Bad Times" was very Robert Plant. I thought I was at a Jimi Hendrix concert while "Fire" was played. Trey`s solo was so good. I downloaded this show as soon as I could. Mike`s solo during "You Enjoy Myself" was very well done. Fish kept the beat through it all. Seeing Jeff Holdsworth was really cool.

This whole year has been absolutely phenomenal. This show had a little bit of every sound, your fast rock, pure funk, ambience and some just flat out great jamming. This was the old school Phish I`ve been waiting for. The overall vibe was real chill and the Pepsi was ready for a great night of pure insanity. Even though the 1st set could`ve been a little longer IMO, it still rocked the house. The Chalkdust opener was solid and seemed to set a great tone for the rest of the evening. Stash seemed to just go wherever it wanted to and then followed by a nice Guyute that got the place movin even more. Then it was time for a nice puff break with Thunderhead which was just as good if not better than the Burgettstown show. Sparkle was sweet and I always wanted to hear that one live, but nothing could save me from the Wolfman`s that followed. Funktified and juicy this was the best Wolfman`s I`ve ever heard and then to make things even nicer that went into GTBT which was out of control, Trey just went off. After a long set break I knew the 2nd set had to be long and sick. Tweezer was just the way to open the set and all I could think about is how awesome the 2nd set of the 2-28 show was when they opened with Tweezer. A nice groovy jam finally found its way into an unbelievable 2001. The lights in this jam where crazy. A great start to the set made things better with YEM. Mike was out of this world in the jam and Trey almost tripped getting on the trampoline. The rest of the show with Jeff Holdsworth was quite a treat. To some it may have takin away some of the energy from the start of the set but not for me. Camel Walk and Possum two of his originals were just so cool, with him at the mic. Long Cool Woman was also quite a treat only the 3rd time that has ever been performed and then Trey finished well with a smokin Antelope. Finally a nice solid cover of Fire was just what I needed to sink in an incredible snowy night in Albany, NY. The new sound of `03 is pure and a great new beginning of what Phish can provide for the next decade and some. All of the tours from this year have been anything short of incredible. This has got to be one of the best years of great shows pretty much non stop. All those in Miami in Dec. dance till you drop and see you in `04.

THIS SHOW WAS OFF THE F#CKIN HINGES!!!! I have never seen phish so tight, and full of energy. Set 2 was a milestone in itself. TWEEZER>2001 dude!!!!!! Jeff Holdsworth was just sick as HELL. Camel was too HEADY!! No joke the BEST Phish show ever!! Phish is back to their old school ways!!!!!

Very sick show, and probably the best Phish show I`ve seen. At one point Page even gave me a salute, that`s how sick it was to be close up, even with no lights on the side of the stage. Chalkdust opener was great, WOLFmAn excellent, and GTBT was a great first set closer. Opening with Tweezer, into 2001, into YEM was unreal, really expected to save it for Boston. All the songs with Jeff were sweet, very cool thing to play Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress, and Antelope with Marshall setting our gears in control, FIRE completly unexpected but good oncore. This is a show you want in your collection, and personally much better then the Boston show the next night. Can`t wait for New Years!

Let me just say this was the most AMAZING show I have EVER seen!! I couldn`t be any happier w/ the boys performance. They were wonderful! It was great to hear the old stuff, espeically the 3 from Nectar. This is why I love this band so much, they know how to make you appreciate music!

If a good Phish show can be considered analogous to spending a little time in the spirit world then I was definitely in [my] church Monday night; at least through the first set and well into the second. With the anniversary in full swing the reunion gig (in the second) was fitting in terms of bringing on the nostalgia……….but unfortunately took the wind out of the worship sails. However, with this being said; it still goes down as one of the best shows I’ve experienced on the jamb tip!
After hearing some past recoded “knick” shows, especially the 2000 double-header I’d been jonesing to hear them in Albany live; they did not disappoint. With the venues micro size and “local-boys-from-next-door” vibe in full effect the show was definitely in the zone right from the start and only dialed up from Thunderhead-through -Good Times……deliriously fine, again picking right back up in the second with Tweezer-through-YEM! I mean what was up with W~bro, Tweezer & 2001? Amazing! ……..as for the reunion; glad to have seen it. The ears however are another story……a story better left to the ghost.
Overall Awesome!
Amen.
