The December 1st show in Albany was AMAZING! It was my first PHISH show and I`m so glad one of my most generous friends gave me one of his tickets (front row seats right where the band entered and exited the stage). The crowd was the most chill bunch of people and it`s not often you get to experience nice crowds at a concert, which is especially nice considering I have a healing broken leg which was giving me much pain because of walking/standing so much. After fully experiencing the outstanding light show and the two most amazing sets I have ever heard, I now have a whole new appreciation for Phish. It was also a real treat to be able to see Jeff Holdsworth play with the band and bust out some of the old stuff. Needless to say this is one impressed fan and I can`t wait to go again. Too bad I couldn`t get a shirt! FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC, JAM ON!

All I can say about this show is that it was an amazing experience for me. It is completely worth the download. This is one is Jam Packed with the Jams. Imagine, my first show since the hiatus had finally arrived. I also had the notion of seeing the Fleet Center show Tuesday in mind as well after this one and was wondering which one would be better. The band kicked things off with Chalkdust and I began to soak everything in. It was a great opener. Trey just rips on it. Other good first set notes was Sparkle, which I never had heard live and also the Wolfman`s into Zeppelin to close the set. I had felt they should have covered something Zeppelin in one of the songs. So sure enough as the Second set starts, and after an amazing first 3 songs of Tweezer, 2001 and You Enjoy Myself, Trey invites the long missing Jeff Holdsworth out. I was not surprised given the fact i had heard The Dude of Life had made an appearance earlier in Uniondale. He wasn`t too bad either given the fact Trey was no longer alone on guitar. They had him play through the second set, including Camelwalk and Possum (which were fitting), and Run Like an Antelope ( where the great Tom Marshall makes an appearance on the Rye Rye Rocco part ) as well. It began to ring some bells about the old Phish college tapes I have in the car. The show ended with a little Hendrix and it seemed that the band took this crowd back in time. I have to say through it all, I`m very impressed. Their sound has indeed evolved into a larger area since 2000. All these special little appearances have to bring in mind what the Final Big One in Boston will be like.

It was an unbelievable show. The tweezer was a great way to start the second set, and personally i called it. The rest of the second set was amazing including the Jeff Holdsworth and I cant believe they played YEM, i forsure thought it was going to be saved for boston. The atmosphere was great and the band ripped it up. At certain points i almost cried from excitment. My only other comments are that the security staff was very uncool. We were all just trying to have a good time, listen to music and dance. No one was causing problems on the stairs but yet the staff made a big deal about it. Its all good....by far the best show ive seen

A very fun show at the Pepsi Center. Too see Jeff come out was incredibly special. The Camel Walk through Fire probably won`t transfer that terrifically to disc, but to watch the smiles and hugs from the front row was something else. Actually, everyone seemed to having a blast in Albany. Security (on the floor at least) was incredibly lax, and the vibe was an overall positive one. The non-Jeff portion of the show had some unused potential in the second set, but the good moments from throughout were a perfect indication that the boys still have those all-time amazing jams left in them. I was hoping the Tweezer would really go out there once they settled into the ambient sound, and it almost did. No one was diappointed that it was 2001 which ended the Tweeer jam before it *really* soared, but Trey seemed to highjack the 2001. YEM took a while to get going but when it finally did, it raged. Great drum and bass section.

The best moment of the show was the Wolfman`s jam. You`ll want to hear this at all costs. Spectacular stuff. Stash also had some sweet atypical moments. Good Times Bad Times was a perfect first set closer. I actually really enjoyed Thunderhead, too.

High energy show! Crowd was bumping the whole night. Great Chalkdust to a fantastic stash then guyute. You can tell from the very beginning that this show was going to be old school. Thunderhead was performed beautifully then to bring the crowd up a rockin Sparkle. The energy was funnelled into an Incredible Wolfman`s and smashed all the way through Good Times, Bad times.
Second set started with a great Tweezer into a super funky 2001..the funk kept going straight into YEM...Fish and Mike`s solos were amazing. Holdsworth comes out for a few songs...crowd wasnt into it at first but once his amp was turned down in possum trey took over for the rest of the incredible show..
Anyone seen my Reprise?

wow!.....where can i start.....how about with chalk dust and stash openers.....not to mention a raging guyute on top of those two....those first 3 songs were enough to make the set.....but when they brought out sparkle, wolfman`s and Good Times, Bad Times. thats just going out of there way to please us faithful fans...Thank You! Now i thought the show was already shaping up to be a good one... the second set took the show to a whole new level. I would say a nearly perfect set. Tweezer > 2001 > YEM......that says it right there.....add camel walk (very nice surprise) and possom ....that says even more. trey was very vocal with the crowd which was nice, as well was long cool woman and a pleasing Antelope set closer. The encore was very strong with Fire, ending a very nice, cover filled, show. plobably number 1 on my favorite shows ive seen. Thanks guys.
