The Tweezer>2001>YEM is seriously one of the phunkiest pieces of music i`ve ever listened to. The Wolfman`s is to die for too. Just a really, really great show.

Absolutely have to agree that Disc 2 of this show is a must-have. It has been in my car for months at a time. The YEM jam is a series of tension and release sections - the 12:48 mark has some serious Mike/Trey funk... Perhaps one of the best post-hiatus jams. Plus, I`m glad I was there to see it in person - makes it that much more memorable!

Possibly one of the best pieces of music ever is contained within this show....highly recogmend checking out the Tweezer>2001>YEM portion.. mind blowing.

This was a great show, the Chalkdust opener is better than average and the Wolfman`s is stellar. The bass solo on YEM is funky and brings a smile to my face every time. Gotta give a shout out to all those kids who drove back to Vermont and New Hampshire in that snow storm after the show, it took me seven hours to make the normally two hour ride home. Get this show, you will not regret it, much better then the fleet center.

Damn, this show was tight! it`s a bummer more people don`t seem to give this show the attention it deserved. the sound of this venue was far superior to the acoustics of the fleet center a couple days later, and this show not only dwarfed th "20th anniversary flop" but bent it over and paddled it very roughly. Being a phish fan since 93, knowing the deep history of the band and the whole jeff holdsworth saga, i was floored when the man appeared on stage. couldn`t believe it. it seemed to me at the time, especially w/ the boston show receding in the mirror like a car-wreck the uneducated and simple masses can`t help but gawk at, that they deliberately made this show so kick-ass to buck everybody`s desires and prognostications for the boston show to just be epic. THIS show was epic! please, ignore the fleet center! look at the encore of that show, BUG!? now recall the final lines of that song, repeated by trey ad nauseam both in the studio and at the fleet (and recall what a poor song "bug" actually is and how infrequently they play it probably a good sign that the band itself doesn`t even hold affection for it) but so anyway, the last lines, "IT DOESN`T MATTER! IT DOENS`T MATTER!" boston didn`t matter; albany did!

Second disc is pure sickness. Talk about funky! But the Wolfman is absolutely fantastic. Great jammin`. Some of the best post hiatus.

OK, I’m not super current on all the latest Phish trivia, but I do own The Pharmer’s Almanac Vol. 6, which covers Phish history up until their 2000 sabbatical. Within, It contains an excerpt on Jeff Holdsworth as the 5th Phish member. Its tells of him as one of the co-founders of the band, of all the members he was by far the most experienced of the five, and that he handled most of the vocals. It further describes him as a classic rock and blues enthusiast. Jeff, however, was turned off when Trey presented “You Enjoy Myself” at a practice session. So turned off in fact, that he left the band and basically vanished from the Phish scene. The excerpt from PAv6 ends by saying that it is rumored that the band leaves a pair of tickets to every show at will call hopping Jeff will someday show up. Soooo, needless to say when listening to Live Phish Radio the other day I was quite surprised to hear Trey introduce Jeff Prior to “Camel Walk” as the former band member. I purchased this show immediately and was blown away right off. Incredible Llama into an awesome Stash with a notable Wolfman’s Jam makes the first set. But The fun really starts in the second set w/ Tweezer into 2001 into YEM, where Trey gets to smile and Jeff gets to watch the Audience cheer YEM before he joins the band for this reunion Jam. Awesome…..
