Phish gets better every time I see them. How can that be?

This was by far the sickest show I have ever seen. I feel privaledged that I was there, sharing in the intense energy and incredible love that permeated the entire arena. Thank you, Phish, for the phunk! I danced and laughed so hard I still haven`t come down. Everywhere I looked, I saw nothing but smiles. Yeay! The nine hour drive through flurries and ice was well worth it!

This was my only show of the tour and the boys ripped it up!!Every single year in Albany since 97 they put on a pumping show. I needed mike on vocals during Possum but seeing Jeff play with them was once in a lifetime. Second set Tweezer,2001,YEM doesn`t get much better than that. Great show definately worth the download.

This was a great show, also my first show. I have been into them for 5 years now. my brother and his friends have seen them more then 10 times. i have listened to many shows, even big cypress and this show was ranked up there with that show. Wolfmans brother started it all. It was a great expeirence to see camel walk and long cool women. The energy was defintly there. I was really flabergasted to see holdsworth come out. I went to the show buzzed and tired and came out drunk and had tons of energy.
i am very happy to say that i have seen this great event in phishtory!!!!!!!

Whenever I go to a Phish show, i can`t help but compare it to other phish shows, its part of the "hobby" of phish. First off, having gone to all 4 shows of the 20th anniversary run, i can safely say that this show was the superior show, which is kinda of disappointing considering what the 20th anniversary show should have been (only one 20th anniversary show ever!!), but thats a different story. Anyways, it wasn`t that everything about this show was so ridiculous, it was that the boys havent played like they have during the first three songs of the second set, since I heard them at Worcester. This brings me to my next point. After attending the Worcester show and hearing what I considered to be the phinest YEM ever, i thought that it could never be outdone, and this was true, for the next time i saw it at Camden and IT, it was comparitvely weak, so I kinda just shrug off YEM as one of those songs that will forever be tainted for me. But it finally happened, they finally outdid the Worcester YEM, and Mike`s solo was absolutely unprecedented. This is the Phish I come to shows to see. Although like everyone else I want to hear those songs (fluffhead, esther, etc.), but essentially we all listen Phish because of our appreciation for music (except for those people who go to Phish shows to brag to their friends or to tell people in hopes of being cool, "dude, i got so wasted at the phish show last night" or those people seen talking on their cell phones during the show or holding their phone up, just so dumb; in case you haven`t notice those people really bother me, especially since they prevent the real phans from going) anyways the playing during that part of the set represented Phish at its phinest, and thats what I look for when attending any phish show. So although the other shows in this tour were great, they were playing fabously all tour, the first three songs of the second set sealed they deal for me regardless of the rest of the set.

This show was simply amazing. I went nuts when they came on stage and opened with Chalk Dust Torture. It`s such an amazing version, and trey just goes crazy with an awesome solo. The guys totally blend together, and there is some amazing bass work from Mike during wolfman`s brother (Mike you`re the man!) . The lights were amazing. The first set was great... thunderhead was sweet and they closed it set with an unforgettable cover of good times, bad times (definitiley a highlight). I was even more impressed with the second set. They open with a really spaced out version of tweezer and then they roll right into 2001. The musicianship and talent that these guys have developed over the years could not have been displayed better than during YEM (a fantastic organ solo by page). After they closed with Run Like An Antelope and the whole arena lit up with lighters, it was a breathtaker. They came back on and played a Hendrix cover of Fire. The guys put so much energy into this show, and the jams were awesome (highlights: YEM, chalk dust, good times, bad times, 2001, tweezer, wolfmans brother). They never cease to amaze me with the love and spirit they put into their music. 20 years and going strong! Rock on Phish!!!

People give more props to the boys for their encore, I thought Fire was the nastiest way to end that show, not to mention i think Trey proved that he can wail Hendrix like nobody else today. ohhh tweezer>2001>yem, i think we all could feel those...

Went to all 4 shows and without a doubt, this was the "true" anniversary show. There was so much energy in the building throughout the show. It was incredible. Sorry to those of you who missed out on a once in a lifetime show.
