This Regression is a gem. Everyone starts to groove around Gordo's rhythm about halfway through and then it just takes off. Great show in general. Loved this tour and thought Mike had the most consistency of all the solo acts during this year.

alright guys, i was about to dl this show and then i started reading these reviews...and you`re all pissing me off. trey and mike are both Gods in their own right. There would be NO phish without trey AND there would be NO phish without Mike. They`re perfect compliments to each other, both instrumentally and vocally. To say one is better than the other (frank) is just absurd. It`s like comparing apples and oranges. Now let`s get back to what this is meant for...WRITING REVIEWS OF THE SHOW. Douchebags.

Is this a trey Show? All this talk I was not sure if this was a MIKE show.
|
I did write that review years ago, I may have been 21 at the time, but I still belive what I wrote was appropriate. Trey did ruin the band. They all contribute the same, and shine at their own moments, but if you listen to tapes from 00-04, who do you think was sloppy more than others? And my point is concluded with his arrest about a year ago. I wrote that paragraph already owning 75+ downloads and over 30 cassettes from `86 and beyond, so enough about how I don`t know the band. Hopefully they have a comeback tour or special shows! They are the best band to see live no matter how sloppy they are.

Frank is clearly a chump. That being said, Mike`s band is pretty sick. Gordon Stone is always sick. I`ve been lucky enough to hear Julie and Scott play a number of times with the Depth Quartet and Max Creek, and they`re really first rate musicians, and pretty nice people.

come on now frank. we all know that mike is an unbelievable talent, but who really can screw trey. who are you kidding? you must not have a clue man. phish couldnt be who it is if it werent for every member contributing in thier own incredible ways. thanks anyways frank and better luck next year.
|
Seriously Frank do you even know what Phish is? Try giving it a couple couple listens before you ramble like an idiot. The point is they were all about equally indispensable to the music they made but what Trey used to contribute required loads more effort, imagination, leadership, and dexterity than Mike`s perpetually evolving bass lines. Things are a little different now, but anyhow..... I really hope you..... read this.. that would be awesome.... listen to early 90`s PHiSH and eat your words.
|
Oh yea, Frank. GROW UP!! Without Trey you can kiss this whole thing goodbye. There wouldn`t even be a site like this to blow all your hot air on. Keep listening my young friend...you`ve got alot to learn.
