Headphones Jam

the last 8 minutes of this jam are the sickest thing I have heard these guys pull out since the island tour. they seem so inspired and full of excitement for the upcoming album experience. it makes me wonder why "undermind" was such a flop. herre they`re bringing the house down. imagine if "the dude" never let us here this....

Awesome! Sounds so great. Love to hear the boys just do what they do best: make the best mind f*ck music in the world. Put this on and just let the layers wash over you.

This is a great jam. Seeing something like this on here is refreshing. Whether or not there is ever a reunion, touring or studio-based (as per the above review), it would be amazing to see more stuff like this issued. Everyone knows how amazing Phish were live, I don`t think much more proof is really needed....now it`s time to show off their skills, behind the scenes. Studio jams, unreleased songs, ideas, soundchecks, and other esoteric material should be the future of LivePhish. Hopefully we`ll see more like this soon.

Many thanks to Nikster for weathering the torrent of PT abuse and making this available, and for a good cause.

Ahhh, "new" Phish. Good to have. Love the jams!

And thanks to the winner (and proud member of the Duo fan community at organanddrums.net) for being so kind to let the rest of the community hear this AND support a charity. Thanks to all involved.

.....and i agree with the spaceman on this one...but ever since i got hold of my first soundcheck from a show i thought they should be releasing stuff like this...no audience, just studio improv.can you dig it?i knew that you would!!

I would be happy if Phish got together every now and then and recorded new jams like this for livephish.com

If touring is going to be an unworkable situation for the band...they should do this stuff on their own. Be a digital band. Screw the tours, screw the major label hassle...if the only way Phish can come back is by being radically different, while still moving forward, i think this is a great answer. No 3,000 person guest list, no lot scene...just new, great music with no pressure.

I would dig it and I bet they would end up making some great music.

p.s. - this jam is very cool.
