okay folks... i think we can all agree that everyone's completely beside themselves with excitement over the band ( that's right, OUR band) gigging back together. however, to be an honest fan, the first run, first night, had quite a few complete flubs... and highlights. I was, i hate to admit, a little disappointed listening to 3/6. A little rusty is understandable. But this night's show has, for me, proven that Phish means motherfuckin business.... they're back. It should only get better from here... but there's no shame in calling out the band... most of us know that not every show of any sort is smokin.... but you got to admit it's getting better, it's getting better all the time.... where' s my wedge? spread good vibes, folks.... it's hard, but possible... (that goes out to the aggro hips out there who love to tear people down for their opinions and talk shit) The big scheme is the real theme...

Awesome set's -- all three nights were gold. Antelope was right on key and it goes to show that Antipasto is back where he belongs. Albeit there were a little rusty pieces here and there, but the on the hole, the show was tight. I can't wait until this summer. It's only going to get better as they keep going. Trey will be in back in true Jedi form in no-time, just watch!

The playing was much looser. It sounds like the pieces are falling back in place. The recording though is better than night one but still needs work. I assume whomever the recordist is is using a PT HD rig w/direct outs from the main or a seperate feed. Plus a Pearl stereo mic or two. Too many toys, It is a bit too pristine (rather too digital sounding) it looses that live feel. Anyways the work is appreciated. ditch the Pro Tools and get a Deva 5.8 from Zaxcom.
