yeah i hear what your syin, im all about the furthurnet, but these are process right, and im running them processed to aiff and they sound great through jbl's. shn and flac is the way to go lossless, i know, but an mp3 processed right well maybe youd hear the difference, but i dont think so if processed right but shn and flac are difinitely better. mr techy. you get your props!

in regard to Od-head's comments: Yeah, your right about mp3s being rendered well making a big difference. For someone [me] who over analyzes not just the production quality but, the theory and arrangements - I think it's well worth buying the FLAC files (once I have some money). MP3 is short for motion picture experts group [layer 1 level 3]. The compression of mp3's is definitely noticeable when listening through a pair of Yamaha HS-50's and a pair of Yamaha NS-10m's and/or looking at the frequency response on an RTA.

Bottom line. Support good music and support the d/ling of lossless file types!

I couldn't agree more w/ DD's statement. Thank you guys for involving the people that couldn't make it out for the Hampton run w/the setlists and free downloads for those of us that broke. Can't wait for Asheville & Knoxville!
I'll get my real Phish fix soon.
Keep It Greasy,
Paul Staats
