I've missed this energy...more than I knew. Thanks so much for making these downloads available for free download. It was a ton of fun to host a get together on 3/7/09 and be able to play the show from 3/6/09 while we all played poker. It truly made the night.

You guys!! Thank you so much!! The music is phenomenal!! Limb by Limb took my breath away... looking forward to the rest of the set. George Bush is gone, Phish is kicking ass again... Things are definitely looking up!! Thank you for the good times!! We love you!

seen phish a shitload of times from when they first started till now, only complaint about these hamptons besides the ticket prices, which are total bullshit, i mean who the fuck wants a thousand dollar ticket wtf! is some of the vocals are a bit weak, treblely or just off, guess its hard when you havent played for awhile. i dont follow phish like i did the dead ( i missed five shows in 89) but they are awesome musicians nevertheless, but when i heard that cover of five hundred miles from nyc ,new years, i finally understood the comment about how phish could piss in their fans ears and they wouldnt know the difference. i mean what in the fuck was that, and for a new years run. well anyway, i thought the friday show was much hotter than last night, yeah a couple of cool covers, but for the saturday show, that shit should have been ragin!!! fuck id have been pissed if i had skipped friday for saturday. but im glad they are back and hope it gets better. not that it isnt already. maybe trey needs to get back on the dope, like jerry.

I agree with some others on highlights - It's Ice, and a real nice Halley's Comet. Starting to delve into some brilliance in the Rock and Roll jam. I won't likely be keeping many of the other files on my machine. I feel like perhaps after several years of Anastasio Band shows, Trey sort of got into just spilling out these torrents of signature, recognizable riffs, in quantity, but not in quality. And now that he's back with the band, I'm not hearing him step back and listen to what's happening as well as he once did - many missed opportunities for liftoff. Page, IMO sounds phenomenal and drives a lot of the best moments from these Hampton shows so far. Expecting more of the same for night 3 - quantity, but not always quality, speckled with a few gleaming highlights. I do have to remind myself - Phish playing sub-par is still a truly phenomenal band... but when you've seen and heard the true potential, observing consistant mediocrity on the phish scale makes me wince a little bit.

For the most part, a very impressive show. Some minor flubs in the first half of the first show, but by the time It's Ice and Halley's Comet roll around, they seem to be firing on all cylinders. Can't wait for the Camden show and Bonnaroo. So happy to have the boys back.
