I agree with Sarah from Pa! I have been following Phish since the mid 90"s. The Phour Horsemen have ripped it from day 1. Every show, set, encore, venue, lot and whatever else you can throw in, have such diffrent vibes, sounds and memories for everyone involved, from the band to the fans! My favorite Reba of all time will may diffrent from the next persons, or top 10 shows of all time, etc... The fact and reality for me is this, I had Phish and lost them and didn't think they would ever come back. I thought that thought so many times after Coventry and just prayed and wished that one day the Boy's would be back. If not, I was @ least thankful and happy I was able to be in the right place at the right time and found the best band, memories and sounds I ever experienced! I was at all three nights and they ripped it from start to finish! Were their flaws? Not sure since they are a live band with free flowing jams, oh and they are also human! Not Robots. P.S. Their has never been a "bad" Reba!

I think this will go down as one of the best Phish concerts ever.

The '09 tour looks/sounds like a completely satisfying comeback for the band! Since I bought the "Rift" album a few years ago I have been hooked on Phish and knew they hadnt toured in years, but dreamed I 'd get to see em someday! Well luckily for me I am going to the Saratoga Springs show on 8/16! I havent been this excited for a show (since the Mighty Mighty Bosstones came to Buffalo last year!) in a looong time. I read a lot of people critiquing the sound, performances of songs, set lists etc...many of which would and might actually hurt the bands feelings! Come on folks, if you loved the band back in the 90's, dont put down the same guys for not doing it the exact same way now!

there was nothing wrong with that 'reba'. some people need to get over themselves and stop the bitching and nitpicking. it's way immature and stupid. we all know certain people feel like 'the biggest fan ever' but in reality they actually are quite lame. the 'headier than thou' attitude got to go...cough cough ap cough....

PS. I could go on and on about how great Phish is and what a great show they throw BUT the music speaks for itself so we really don't have to.

Saturday night Hampton was my first Phish show ever! I was fortunate enough to purchase 2 tickets through the request lottery so naturally I miracled my close friend who was the one that brought the glory from within the Phish to me in the first place.

I've been listening to Phish for about 5 years now and the vast landscape of love, excitement, expectations, experience, and downright great vibrations has been a wonderful world to become a part of.

Of course I felt a tad bit left out since i never saw Phish in '03 or '04, when I was more than able to drive my seventeen year old ass to a show, but wasn't hip yet. So all I could think was "I hope Phish gets back together so I, and all of the great people I've met could go and rage together to the funky-fied sounds"

2009 is here and miracles do happen and dreams come true, so for all of those who are pretty pissed (understandably so) about not getting a ticket, THANK YOU for your years of dedication and love so that this day could finally come along for me and I could walk into the doors to Hampton Coliseum and waltz 50 feet from the stage on the floor and have the best concert experience I've had in my life! All 3 nights were great BUT Saturday night was for sure slam packed with the ROCK AND ROLL!!

Phish sets my soul on fire and I am so happy to go see them 3 more times this summer, Starlake, Deercreek, & Meriweather Post, I hope to see some of you there!

Again thank you to all of the kind and creative people in the world.

Re: The Wallabee Champ's Post

Very thoughtful, accurate and insughtful post my friend. Although not that succinct , it is still very comprehensive. I enjoyed reading it and I agree on many levels with you. You stated what I was trying to explain to our friend there who blew up, seemingly offering no substantial comments whatsoever other then to try and bash me for critiquing a song. I hope this "PA" fellow read your post. And the other who posted after him. Obviously it is clear to me that there are several different generations of phish fans, and not only that there are also different levels of intelligence here. No matter what anyone's opinion is , it is important we do not attack them, which is what was done to my original post about Reba.

In any case all phans should be phans, not jumping on other reviews. That is what this board was made for and if those guys can't handle it then they need to step off.
