Post-Hiatus Phish: high probability of epic version of song, low probability of epic show.

Post-Reunion Phish: low probability of epic version of song, high probability of epic show.

I much prefer the latter.

It doesn't matter if they hit every note perfect or someone flubbed a couple segments or what not.

They're Back! And it seems, ready to reach new and higher peaks again.

I appreciate everything they do for their fans and can't wait to see what the future holds for these 4 very special composers.

Also, I have to say, for some of you older fans like myself, go easy them. They're never going to be the same band they were in '92 and you have to except that and be appreciative of the fact that you were alive then and able to experience it and let the younger generations discover an important piece of American music history for themselves.

I first saw phish in erie PA in 1994 at the warner theater. In the coming years thru the 1990s Phish was a big part of my life. Some where around the late 90s things with the band and fans changed. I understood it when they broke up. I am so very happy to hear these hampton shows. It reminds me of the mid 1990s with incredible chemistry and energy. Amazing!

We should all just be grateful that they are back together performing and just enjoy the music. Especially for free, it is definitely better then none at all. Cant wait till Knoxville show.

Why would you post on here to complain??? Are you envious you're not there???? are "you just staring at your walls"???? Be GRATEFUL that one of the greatest bands to ever take the stage is doing again what they do best!!! And to those who are saying a Gamhenge isn't possible.....2 years ago you were probably saying there was no way in hell these 3 nights would ever happen....ANYTHING is possible!!! "now I'm convinced the whole day long, that all I learn is always wrong" The fact the first night they opened with Fluffhead and closed with YEM was a STATEMENT.....to paraphrase Trey's Rolling Stone interview about a year ago that when he was sitting in jail thinking about his comments about not wanting to play YEM for the rest of his life and that he wrote Fluffy when he was 16 and would at this point give his left nut to play those songs 5 times in a row for the rest of his life.....I know we can be a very critical fanbase but if you truly love Phish than you love whatever is coming out of the speakers at any given time.....JUST BE GRATEFUL THE BOYS ARE BACK!!!! AND GIVING US FREE ACCESS TO THESE SHOWS!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND SEE YOU IN ALPINE VALLEY & HOPE YOU GUYS WILL ADD A WEST COAST LEG TO THE TOUR!!!!

My impression of these shows is that they are a 2009 version of LivePhish 9, I love it! It's really easy to enjoy the show when they are clearly having fun doing it.
