Sounds really on point at this show. It's Ice is pretty sick. Ghost jam is really enjoyable.
I figured out what's missing though. Wasn't obvious at first, but after hearing Ghost, I noticed that Trey hasn't used the Boomerang at all in either show so far for those sick loops he's so well known for. I kind of miss that. Definitely critical for ghost at least.
It seems like they're trying to go back to 95-97 style playing, which would make sense since Trey has expressed a distaste for the way things became approaching the new millennium. Good to see them addressing the importance of playing really tightly, just hope they don't forget to get loose. I'm still waiting for the 30 minute face melter jam. Might not happen on this run.

Today, I listened to last night's show , and wow, they're backk! A rocked-out FLUFFHEAAADD to Diivided Sky. then Chalk Dust! I couldn't help but laugh out loud picturing the whole Col jumping up and dancing around, laughing so hard!
After DavidBowiie, "it" that is Phish, must have all made sense to the newbies. A solid second set, the inevitable YEM as the closer and a bouncin' encore! Enough said.
TONIGHT. The adrenaline in that building must have been insane! Apparently, a very well-planned out show. To you "special ones", the lights look fun! Has to be a blast! I envy you. And tomorrow, it's the biggest party in the world again...
Couldn't help but buy tickets to the last 3 nights of the summer tour today; flying out from CA. Get 'em now, they are hot!
