What a wild and crazy couple of days! Asheville was my 8th show and this one my 9th. Left this show and drove to Gatlinburg straight after leaving the show....got to the Riverside Hotel and ate (another) four grams of boomers. Don't remember anything about the hotel room but I do remember the lobby becoming a space ship at one point.

This was my 1st show, I had no idea about the mail order tickets and I thought that one would look great with my new Knoxville phish show poster so I asked anyone on this review board for an extra and a guy sent me one in almost perfect condition! I don’t know who you are but you gave me something for free that most people would have hawked on eBay and I will keep it for the rest of my life. There are some great people in this community and I will be sure to keep the good karma flowing. Thanks guy.

This was my 1st show.. And what an amazing show.. Best Ocelot so far.. And the Frankenstein ender...no doubt a sick show.

we had the amazing fortune, due to very kind trades with very nice people, to end up with 2nd row center stage floor seats.
all I can say is, this was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
Angkor Wat, Grand Canyon, this Phish show.
Yes, it was that good.

oh and a nasty guitar solo from Character Zero

this show was tight because of the venue, the energy, and the Waves>OceanSing>Bowie - tix for pocket change outside got thousands of rowdy Volunteers and Bonnaroobs traveling from the East into the big orange octogon for a very songy Phish show - very chill setlist, nothing outrageous, but tight playing on complex tunes - MikesH2Groove, Reba, Coil, Hood - Encore with Page in front on the KeyTar and Gordon on Flame Bass lots of fun - just a lowkey behind the stage stop in the road for me but i 'magine a memorable night for UT Knoxville hipsters - BTW, the entire city is orange if you've never been, kind of a trip unto itself

Words cannot describe the energy that lit up Thompson-Boling during the opener; the place was on fire. I echo what has been said below, I think that it's between this show and Asheville for summer part 1. As far as the recording itself, I personally think it is fantastic; a good mix of SBD and audience. For any traders out there, this recording most closely resembles an MTX recording.
