I have listened to this show to excess. It is incredibly good. I particularly love listening to this first set. BDTNL was short but poignant. The very beginning of the guitar solo section is just bursting with good energy. Every song played in the first set was played spectacularly. I have listened to the Ocelot so many times and it still has me saying "no fucking way, they did what?" The Wedge, Stealin Time(what great lyrics), The Connection, Ocelot, Fluffhead is just awesome. Do not overlook this The Connection. Seems like kind of a fluff song I know, but the guitar playing is inspired. Second Set was great too.

Dude. ok. look. They're back. They do things on stage that musicians today could never even IMAGINE! proof that this band will kick u in your mom-loving nuts and Smear your Face with some washed-out dirty-hippy-i-know-how-to-have-a-job-and take a shower BUT can still get NASTIER than u.. AND I"M OLD!!! without getting messed up but still catching a buzz rock?!?!????!!

two words: TWEEZER REPRISE.

there. I said it. Once the "mother" of all blow-the-lid-off the joint Indoor rock anthems, this tune almost knocked that wooden fence over. AND surely put a lot of tentative fans back in their place! Boy! OUTDOORS no-less!!!!

oh, and the entire first and second sets almost made me mess my pants.
mike did "poop" in lawn boy, but the Wedge he shoved down our throats was taste-y =)

rock on ya widespread string-cheese eatin tools! gimmie some moe.
P*H*i*S*H!!!!!

Looking back a couple months later, this is IMO best of the first leg. If you're looking for summer 09s to remaster, this is the first one of the tour where they really "clicked" - and only in Set II. Also might definitely be worth a DVD release (as pointed out) due to the lightning, which was the craziest lightning storm EVER. :)

Although I have been listening to this band religiously for going on 4 years this is my first show; I must say a download is no comparison to seeing them live.

Yes, I admit these downloads are not perfect, but this show is still worth the listen. Ending with Fluffhead and on into the 2nd set this show has good energy.

Please release this on DVD as well. I will buy copies.

Please re-release this on CD with a Fred Kevorkian remaster. I would deeply appreciate it.

wow!!! what a show. Five fingered Lightning stretched across the sky!! and an amazing version of Fluffhead before a storm break.
