I thought this show was a wonderful kick off to the Red Rocks run. Great to hear the Rift songs during the first set. Top to bottom, fun show (regardless of the sound quality of the downloads)!

Phish- your livephish releases still sound like crap. Pay somebody who knows how to mix music for these "so-called" multitrack messes you are ripping people off with. Fishman and Gordon should be ashamed at how bad they sound on every one of these shows. Who is mixing this, and why does it continue to suck? Save your money and wait for Phish to get with the program and sort this crap out, because it sounds like crap.

Jimmy has a point, the soundboard recordings are lacking in quality lately. I got a copy of this show from a taper and my copy sounds ten times better than the copy my buddy downloaded.

this show is an absolute disgrace. they should refund anyone's money who downloads it.

FREK you do sound fun. Keep it up. Peggyo I love your little comments they are hillarious. Divided guy, I feel you on the portland scene, portland meadows is lame but that '98 show is one of my all time favs. How about Eugene, the Dead loved playing there, Phish should give it a shot. As far as this show, this was only my 46th show, and first since the USANA in '03, but I felt just like I was 21 again on my first tour. It was also my wifes first show, she has always been skeptical about seeing Phish, and I never thought I would get the chance to share this experience with her. I now have a Phish Phanatic on my hands. This show could not have been better for someones first show. Thnaks Trey, Mike, Page, & Fishman for allowing me to share the magical spiritual phenomenon that Phish with her.

Beautiful venue !!! I mean just nasty...... Divided Sky Opener was tight... I took some great shrooms and filled up a super soaker with Thousand Island dressing and went BALLS OUT in the parking lot. Yes, that was me. I'm telling you this because this was the most interesting point of the venue. My heart went out for anyone who payed over face value for this show. Scene was not as fun as the first time in or around the Amphitheatre. Undercover was everywhere and SHAKEDOWN just has not been the same. Who wants to buy PHISH merch at $50.00 a shirt or any MERCH that you can get of the website. It's 2009.

well, well, well, back to red rocks. the divided sky was an appropriate opener and it was well played. there were a few flubs here and there, but they shook the rust off quickly. ocelot was solid. they went to scatter some other treats around- horn, silent, possum, etc. the set was well paced and well played.
after some fun introducing mike, they cranked up his song. this is probably my favorite version of mike's song since they have returned. the rest of the groove was pretty solid. as much as i love mike's groove, on this night, it paled in comparision to what followed. page and mike killed the ghost jam. gordo had a wonderful bass effect and groove going as he pushed the band into wolfman's. it was a very interesting transition, with the bass line being established before the rest of the band does what they do.
limb by limb works well in this slot. i like how they have been working coil into the 2nd to last song slot instead of the closing slot. as opposed to the yem they put in that slot, they slipped bowie in to close out the first night. bowie was well executed and was a nice exclamation point to a great set. loving cup... standard.
