11/21/2009 U.S. Bank Arena, Cincinnati, OH

Prince Caspian isn't my favorite song but I absolutely love this version. Best I have heard by a long shot. If Treys playing doesn't move you in this you don't have a soul.

I was at both of these shows and were my 2nd and 3rd shows. These shows are excellent and the recordings are done very well and can still hear all the guys playing. That bass on Wolfman's was very funky and nasty and the guys are sounding better than ever, just going in a new direction and if you dont like it more for us

First off, both Cincy shows from this run are great and I'm quite sure downloaders will LOVE these shows. I've heard from Phans that traveled the entire tour and they felt the two Cincy shows were among the better shows from this run.

I wanted to comment on the negativity surrounding the techniques used in making these recordings. For people that are considering downloading, my suggestion is to listen for yourself before making any conclusions. Personally, I have NO PROBLEM whatsoever with these recordings and think they sound great. Yeah, the technique of fading crowd noise at the start and end of songs is different from the past methods used, but I don't personally think it's either bad or annoying, as others have expressed...it's just different. I _LIKE_ these recordings.

FOR SURE, these comments should not keep people from downloading these great shows which also sound mah-velous!

   2 good jams  (2/21/2010 3:18:35 PM)

this show was not absolutely amazing, but it had some very big time highlights. they start the first set nice and fiery, but then it slows down for a bit. finally, they bring forth a monster soa melt. this one breaks it all the way down, only to find their way home again. check out gordo on this one. also, the rock and roll jam was very similar to the big time melt jam. after traveling a similar path, they move in to a nice funky section. this leads to ghost. there were some flubs smattered in ghost but the jam on the back end was also very strong. after that, this show loses a little steam. 2001 was pretty solid.

i was there right off stage right, very intense and great. soam was way out there, but maybe being there it seemed more intense, because when i listen to split it doesnt sound the same, oh well, killer show by all means

Sound quality stinks!!! What's going on? I agree, quality of the mix comes before anything else. I don't care how long it takes, just get it sounding good!
