great show. I just listened to the opening 5 songs through Stash this morning for the first time since the show. What a great high energy opening. I have a great idea that will make this a true fan review of the show (like it's supposed to be) Make them redeem their ticket bar code- one review max per ticket. That gets rid of all the folks that read the setlist and the song times and write complaints about a show like this. Was it the best ever Phish show? Probably not. But both sets showed a quality mix of songs and I once again had a great fun night in my hometown arena, Camden. Thanks Phish (and not one comment about the Rocky tease at the beginning of the show.)

Here's a real review: This was one of those high-energy shows with an edge to it. Hot as hell walking in, so sweat was everywhere early. Boyz walk on, & Trey starts noodling the Rocky theme in a nod to the movie character from the city of Philly just to the west. Then a fun Rocky Top opener...and the smiles began. An early-in-the-show Mike's Groove with a slick Hydrogen in there got me all worked up. Next a stash for good measure, but then they bust it up with a funky Tube. Security was trying but losing the battle with the dancers in the aisles. Then the ugly pig, Guelah, scent...I'm now soaked through my clothes from dancin'...but they keep it coming. Cavern, Sloth...then finally a breather with a 15 minute nice Curtain to end set one. Strange set list to me, but I was liking it. Set II - DWD opener was fun, but the Free, Possum, BBFCFM was pretty relentless and by Swept away, I'm soaked again. Bowie was solid, then Julius, Golgi, Fullhead just kept the foot on the gas. Closing out this show with Joy seemed an odd choice, but Tom was there with his family (including his daughter), and it gave me a breather, so I'll take it. There was really no other time to play it. Bold as love encore - always like this tune, but I was spent, so I went for my car 1/2 way through it to re-hydrate and hit the road for Maryland. I really had an awesome time at this show, and I'm very thankful to be on tour with the band and that I love and all my fellow heads in the lot. Thanks, Phish! And please don't ever stop!

why does anyone right a negative review? do you think someone who actually loves this band is actually gonna see that you thought trey flubbed two songs, and not buy the show? some people have only liked this band for two years, some have loved this band since there beginnings. who cares. if your listening and a fan of this wonderful band, than that is enough. with that being said, if you were at the camden show, you would have seen how much fun the band was having. and in turn, how much fun the crowd was having. for all the negative posts ive seen, you were either in the debbie downer section of the show, or in your own little world. because if you listened to the weekapaug, stash, curtainwith, or bowie you would have heard a wonderful show with lots of excitement. we are on this site to enjoy a band we love, and listen to good tunes. you are not professional critics, who have extensive musical backgrounds who can pick apart every wrong note that someone plays. and if you are, then start your own band and see if any of us listen.
VIVA LA PHISH

i was at this show. great oldschool setlist. ive been waitin to hear a guelah and a sloth forever. i have to say that it seemed like they might have been having trouble hearing eachother because their timing was off a lot of times and they seemed a little hesitant too. i also want to say that i think it is very true that we are lucky that they are around at all to still go see them. for people who say though that they are better than ever, wake up. i agree with the review by w2973. trey used to play mind blowing, spontanious, delicious licks, and just doesnt do it anymore. he seems to lack conviction and confidence behind his playing. His style seems to be a parody of his former style and he repeats riffs in every song and every context. When people get on here and say they are the worst band ever, there is no truth to that. They are simply over the hill. it happens to everyone. NO BAND can continue to be as vibrant and fresh as they were when they were still hungry. not just music. Was rocky 5 as good as the first. academy award winning movie? OF course not. people get old and lose the creativity and commitment to their craft, especially when their fans lap up everything they do. phish still rocks and seeing them is more fun than most other things to do, but they are not what they used to be. that does not mean that u should get on here and bash them. they are still more original than all the garbage that is popular these days.

Overall weird show, some great peaks in there-this will go down as one of the most underrated of the summer in the long run, lots of heavyweight favorites, Curtain With made my night....Bowie could have been taken for a walk but great either way.

David bowie, stash, tube, and down with disease were by far the best songs of the night. BBFCFM was awesome too. This is the best show i have ever seen. i cant wait until they come back to camden.

Here's another useless opinion...
The Curtain With had left a bad taste in my mouth since Coventry... I just couldn't stop associating that song as a representation of everything that went wrong with that time.
This Curtain With has cleansed my palette, I can again enjoy it without that bitter taste.

Sometimes I read review on here that just make me feel like people are either listening to something else or just trying to get others to hate the band that they once felt special because they loved. Anyway,
Holy Summer of Possum!! Everytime they play that track it goes into a solid set of goo!
