Too bad they discovered the mistake of offering the Ball Sq Jam for only $.99. Got it during the 3 day period before they squashed it. Any old schooler who's craving the 97-99 " get totally lost in an ambient jam and forget what song we're playing" MUST GET THIS ASAP! If this 62min excuse for asong doesn't get you off, nothing will. Tab Up!

@ Z

Dude, Z, to be perfectly honest with you I was there, and it may seem like a biased review to a certain extent, but literally I can name you one song or a stretch of songs from each individual night that make them worth the price of download just for how many times you'll listen to them, no matter the rest of awesomeness you get.
For instance, I personally think that the 1st set of night 1 is worth it, for the really awesome Gin, along with a smattering of like 6 covers, of The Stones, Dylan, Bowie, Zappa. None really overdone, though the Quinn was really enjoyable. It was sweet man. And then 2nd set came hard with an excellent Mike's Groove with a pretty tight Simple. Night 1 = Well worth it...
Day 2 really doesn't need a lot of explaining. It's worth it just for the amount of songs you get, but regardless, there are some serious gems. They played a legit daytime set with all sorts of energy to feed off. The crowd was burnin' up in the sun, but we were lovin every minute of it. The Tube opener was dope, the Divided was well played, the Suzy was burnin' too. Heavy Things, Rift, and Scents all stood out to me 2nd set, though the Birds and Antelope were also pretty well done. 3rd set was just awesome. The Tv on the Radio cover of Golden Age and Jam were pretty off the hook, the Tweezer was very well played to me, and Twist was a shining moment from the entire weekend. Encore, to be honest, was a little weaker than I had anticipated. The Tweeprise especially was pretty standard. Show = Very well worth it.....
3rd day they just came with it. I was really happy to get The Curtain and Colonel>Fly Famous, with a really cool and long narrative from Trey. My second Destiny, and Mike brought the funk on that beast. The Mound they played made the entire trip worth it for me. Not for the "rarity" or anything, but because the last 2 minutes of that song are uplifting. It's why we follow this band, and that is no exaggeration. A Song was a treat, and Reba>Bowie close = Chronic. 2nd set the was all good for me. No Quarter I fell in love with the band all over again. Meatstick was fun, Stealing Time was as badass, and the First Tube encore was phenomenal with the fireworks and the energy from the crowd. Great ending to a Phantastic weekend. 3rd night = Must......
Hope all that helps. Long and drawn out, and you probably already have it downloaded by now, but maybe it will help someone else. Happy Phishing everyone. See you all at the Gorge. If it's anything like '09, it's going to be another special weekend at the greatest venue I know....

Your right, whoever said that younger phans don't know anything about the old Phish is just plain ignorant! They should have a talk with me and my friends before they say something as ignorant as that.

When you type thesse posts the prompt on LivePhish is "Your Review:"
I'm someone who downloads off of here and can't really make it to see Phish currently.
It would be nice if people posted reviews that help people decide to download a phish show or not. More and more I have been just going to dotNet.
Please keep your "back and forth" ego posts to a forum and start a topic. I praise the fans / downloaders who post good reviews. I just like the music and appreciate supporting a charity taboot.

Yo Truth, it is the less than 10% of fans who know the real deal and old-time goodness that 90% of the fans know nothing about... Point by Point: 1) I care when douchebags piss near me instead of going to the bathroom like a human. I care when douchebag noob losers (probably like you) pass out from a combination of bad drugs and alcohol and I have to help the misfits because their friends are too wasted. I care when a sweaty wookie thinks he or she can dance ON ME instead of being able to control their high and not bother other people. And I hate a loser like you. Yes bitch, it is all about how one controls themselves, and nothing about the music. No one is entitled to get too high and not be in control. Just like the douche on three who crashed our peaceful space and was sweating and dancing on me and my friends. I tried to talk to him to move on but instead he put his head down against my stomach. Then I asked his friend to get through to him. No go, so I put both hands on him and moved him 20 feet to our left and told him not to come back. Some people, like you, don't get it. 2) Kill Devil Falls is an okay new song that is overplayed especially in the wrong places. If you want to hear it every night then you should become a fan of Arcade Fire and other indie pop bands - probably where you belong! 3) Phish does not jam anymore, which is good actually. Those days are over. Experimental, sure. Good long jams - no longer.
ERAS: No such things as 1.0 2.0 and 3.0. Here is the scoop: Original Era: 1986 to 2000 composed of many sub eras, but the ORIGINAL Phish Post Hiatus: 2002 to 2004 Coventry. Sucked more than 1997 to 1999. Reunited: 2009 to present. Different band, older, play less, rehearse less, very fun in many ways, but nothing like the prior eras. Only the Original Era is worth dissecting into its historical parts.
SuperBall IX = Excellent time, with some real good playing...

After reading " Knows-more has 1 thing right... " vomit of negativity, I have come to a few obvious conclusions.
1) There are a lot of straight up sourpuss/ahole/rude/know it all/jaded tour rat fans who post here. Constantly bitching and moaning about what other fans might do or think. Stop being a toothless lemming. Stop being an ahole to new fans. Why do you care so much what others choose to do? Why do you care what songs others might enjoy? How about you mind your own business and not worry about anything about how you conduct yourself?!
2) KILL DEVIL FALLS IS AN AWESOME SONG. I LOVE IT. I LOVE HOW INSPIRED THE JAM ALWAYS IS BECAUSE YOU CAN TELL THE BAND IS PSYCHED TO BE PLAYING IT. They constantly knock this jam out of the ball park energy wise, so duh!!! of course people are going to get off on it. they could play KDF at every show for all i care and i would still ove it because it whips the crowd into a frenzy every single time.
3) People who keep trolling that phish dosen't jam anymore are straight up retarded. Are you deaf? Where have you been for the last 2 months? Not at the same shows i was at apparently. it's obvious. all these arm chair uber critics who think they can feel a show by sitting at home and stuffing their faces with potato chips with one hand down their pants and the other constantly typing away on Phantasy (lame) Tour. You are the comic book guy from the simpsons. They based the cahracter on you!
99.9% of treu phans kno wwhat is going on and you won't hear them complaining. the other .01% is a cancerous legion on the scene that needs to be removed because they refuse to just go away. Phish rules. Critics blow. Kepp staying home and writing your BS "reviews" on your stupid blogs. I will be on tour.

and to be able to see them as close up as i did, theres was just nothing like it for me
