"For whatever reasons, it sometimes takes me a while to listen to “new Phish.” I was intrigued by Ghosts of the Forest when it was released though, and I’m forever grateful that Icculus made me listen when I did. I was in a real funk, mentally and otherwise, then put this album on and went for a walk on THE MOST BEAUTIFUL spring evening you could imagine. Things didn’t immediately turn around, but I will always remember that night. “We’re all here together and the weather’s fine. Dancing in a dream and we’re free of time.” Damn straight."

"This album is my favorite of all time I’ve been following since the 90s and seriously started crying and healing from grief while hearing this live, emotionally profound and hits me on a level I can’t even put into words. As a medical social worker, thank you from the bottom of my heart you helped me get to work and get through days that were not easy. Beyond thankful that I had the opportunity to see gof live in NY I’m pretty certain the loss I experienced brought me to the raw emotional appreciation of this album and for that I am so very grateful "
