"Seeing Trey at the Ryman Auditorium has always been a very sacred event, and this October 27, 2019 was no exception. At one point, Trey kinda asks that the audience sing some of the vocal parts, and says, “you guys are singing at the Grand Ole Opry, you know,” which made it just that* much more special. The song selection was great, lots of evenly picked material from Trey’s four-decade-spanning career, the stories were fun (as per the usual) albeit a little inaccurate... Trey was talking about the crazy 8-9 special guests onstage at the STARWOOD that he called “Lakewood,” but it’s cool. I’m just glad I’ve been to so many epic performances by Trey Anastasio and would recommend that any real “phan” go see Trey with his guitar onstage at the Mother Church of Country Music, or the Ryman. It’s a sacred place with very special vibrations throughout. "
