"i just heard "heartbreakers". i havent listened to the whole show, but from what i heard, the show sounds very... experimental. i dont know if that is a good or bad thing, but the band sounds like they are getting into new ideas. perhaps it was just the song "hearbreakers" or because they had a guest guitarist, but i feel that the band had a sort of freshness and creativity that had never been done in that way before. it is very interesting. i love to hear people that i have listened to for so long (mike) and then hear them play with other people and see how their "musical personality" kind of changes when they play with someone new. i think it is awesome. anyways, i probably sound like i am just talking about nothing, but really, this show is really something fun and new that mike and the duo has brought to the table. based on the song that i heard, this show will be a getter."

"I saw Mike and the Duo in Athens, GA. If this show is anything like the one they played at the Georgia Theatre, then it is well worth the money. I hope Mike seriously considers playing with the Duo more often. They are absolutely sick together."

"Alright! What a night of muisc. Joe and Marco are good friends of mine from our hometown. I was FLOORED to hear them playing with Mike. They sound incredible together. Full, fast, and extremely well played music coming from all 3! To see Marco playing CTB`s with Mike was just such a trip, great job guys, keep up the awesome work! Grab this show, it is FULL of energy! (:D"

"This show was something else completely. Packed to the brim with all types of late night kids... Anyway, I got into the show no problem, I even had an extra ticket, which I sold to some kid for super cheap. Later on I found out that I could have sold that bad-boy for $100 bucks! Oh well, inside the show someone immediately dosed me down and the music started.... I remember most of the show as being super heady. Just before the second set was over, it looked like everyone needed a pickup - cause it was 4:30am... So I lit this phatty spliff that I had saved and got irie with some kids near the front.... Show ended at like 5am, and we went to go get some beers from the Abingdon Market in Soho.. YEAH! Show rocked,"
