"First set sucked. It was kind of OldSchool 3.0 fish where it was just a bunch of generic Trey soloing all over everything. Nothing special. Second set was a lot better, as I thought it would be. I thought disease through antelope was all good. With disease and life-saving gun being the definite highlights. Didn’t seem to match that glory run of the summer shows they had. I was thinking Trey was gonna leave his percussion kit up there, and boy am I glad he did. Basically, when he uses it, he just takes himself out of the jam and I quite like that. It’s the best part of the shows. I would say it was the best part of this show. It’s actually MORE intense without Trey on the guitar. The rest of the band can just go off without being pushed down by Trey. It allows Mike to just go off and Page to do crazy shit. Because Mike, honestly let’s admit it guys, is what makes fish so special at this point. Mike is the undeniable MVP of this party. Anyway, I look forward to the next two shows. I miss the old songs already. "

"Choppy first set. Fish seemed a bit off to me tonight. Oblivion was one of best jams I’ve heard from that shitty song. Caspian got on track. (Dropped in during the jam so that always helps.). DWD had moments and LSG. As always even at an OK show there are moments you are glad you went. Hey it’s N1 Friday and they sounded like they haven’t practiced much together since MSG. I expect a lot more tonight and tomorrow, can’t wait! "
