"in 2003 bought a few studio albums and some taped recordings on cd from a record shop in jax beach. the dude that worked there turned me into this one by selling it as “alright, y’know some album phish but it’s the new one.” i had already worn out hoist, the white tape, and especially farmhouse. they are all so different. though farmhouse is still my all-time favorite, round room holds a very special place because of all the times and places that i gave it a listen. the music is as experimental and improvisational as you’d expect, but the deep connection is what came as a surprise and remains curious to me. borderline uneasy, yet comforted, and ultimately released, all at once. that’s my feeling each time i gave this a listen from cover to cover. thank you, phish for the beautiful music."

"This is the best Phish album. Pure bliss. The band at their best. On the brink. Round Room is gorgeous, Phish is not music, life is sometimes worth it. Round Room is. "

"I was today-years-old when I first listened to this, and those were some amazing waves."

"I love going back and listening to studio Phish! Hoping some of these Round Room tunes make an appearance at the Sphere ??"
