"this is a good solid first night of a two night run. the first set has some good energy, but the playing is pretty standard. the moma dance>the divided sky combo works pretty well. time turns elastic is just a momentum killer, but they pick it right back up with nice little jiboo>fluffhead. fluff is not the tightest version since they've been back, but it's still strong. can't get enough of that fluff head!! punch kicks the 2nd set off in fine form, but then they really crank it p on tweezer. the whole band is in sync on this jam before finding they're way into light. i really don't like this song, but the jams are so nice. this one is pretty short but it features a very slick transition into gbott. this is a nice fresh version of gbott that eventually comes squealing into a very trey'centric possum. after pausing for a moment after possum, they drop right into a very dreamy slave. i thought they might call it a night after this slave, but they decide to throw down a pretty nice yem. they did really well on the "composed" portion of this classic. as for the jam, it was good, but it was nothing out of this world. this set was very well played and it had excellent flow. good set. excellent show from jiboo on. "First off, both Cincy shows from this run are great and I'm quite sure downloaders will LOVE these shows. I've heard from Phans that traveled the entire tour and they felt the two Cincy shows were among the better shows from this run. I wanted to comment on the negativity surrounding the techniques used in making these recordings. For people that are considering downloading, my suggestion is to listen for yourself before making any conclusions. Personally, I have NO PROBLEM whatsoever with these recordings and think they sound great. Yeah, the technique of fading crowd noise at the start and end of songs is different from the past methods used, but I don't personally think it's either bad or annoying, as others have expressed...it's just different. I _LIKE_ these recordings. FOR SURE, these comments should not keep people from downloading these great shows which also sound mah-velous!"
