Six years later, I’m still upside down — 6/28/2018 6:08:45 PM
"What can I say? Six years on, this show still holds up as one of my favorite shows seen. Arguably the best With section ever played (of the 36 known versions), so good it required a FYF exclamation point (likely also what inspired the FYF Dicks gag later that summer). Bustouts galore, it felt embarrassing almost to be so lucky. The McGrupp jam is short but oh so sweet as is BOTT’s improv. I love a good Fish joke so no complaints from me there (“maybe tucking is Sexual Healing enough”). Waves is the final piece of the puzzle for a complete four quarter effort in the Indiana heat, must hear work there. Blessed to have been a witness."
WAVES .. SOARS!! — 8/1/2012 11:18:43 AM
"In this show is in my opinion the sickest jam or the entire tour thus far..Waves, its absolutely amazing!! You must hear this, but whats really cool is Trey's looping one of the notes he played with feedback, then the band texturizes the jam with a wall of sound, its just amazing playing and music. I cant stop listening to this!"
