"Brutal cold night with sheets ice raining down outside. Inside an epic Chinese New Years Jam rages. Sound mix was perfect for the small tight venue. Horns were blowing it right up charlie bird style for KC. Light show was out freaking face melting standing. I had read reviews of the earlier Denver shows and the sets seemed like they might be down tempo. That was not the case with this show. TAB came out swinging with some cayman and kept the uptempo jam going into an off the hook Alaska. Money love and change was so hot my ears had smoke bellowing out leaving a trail behind me to the all the way to the boulevard beer taps at set break. I don't know how Trey does it but every show seems so special. Maybe it was the Chinese new year or the jazzy ghosts of KC that had TAB jamming like a parade dragon spewing firecrackers from his mouth. The recording mix download confirms that it was more then just my head full of boom booms that made this show great. I will be enjoying this jam for many moons to come."
