"I listened to the second set of this first. This is where Trey's passion is now. Phish had a stale edge in 2014, and it sounded like something of a frustrating year, perhaps. But here we have a show that is bursting with youthful creativity and splendor. Trey is not the only soloist, the rhythm section is just in the groove, and Trey plays this one with love, rather than overpowering rock and roll arrogance. I'm going through a breakup right now, and not much is getting through to me, but the second set... just hit it right and I could feel the joy. Some highlights: the debut of Invisible Knife. The second Lever Boy ever done, and it's such a cool song, that I can't wait to hear more of it. The Sand has a completely different horn part than virtually any other version I've heard. Architect blows with that next-level energy, as does Paper Wheels. When the music steps out of the box, the whole band steps out together as a unit. I would call this a special show. Word is, the whole tour is great. Every member of the band sounds really excited about what's happening here. Happy band. I keep getting this sense that TAB will one day surpass Phish. Maybe the stages are smaller, but the music and even the lyrics are so much more correct and meaningful. We're not dealing with the abstract here. Just great writing, composition, creativity. It's happening here!"
