"Best waves since Bethel sound check 2011. This one was so good I got myself to mex the following year, amazing experience, but unfortunately nothing as good as this waves transpired. If you were there count your blessings twice and listen carefully, in its ambience you’ll find there are some 11/22/1997 Halley’s vibes and sounds coming through.. "

"Reflecting back on my first Phish Mexico trip, this show was the best of the bunch. They just felt so on and so tight. That second set was memorable. Every time I listen to Waves I get transported back to that beach, on that breezy night by the ocean. "

"Decent Sounding 2nd set to me. Firery First Tube, smooth Waves, good Ruby Waves....then 'Shade' sucked cause it's Shade in the 2nd set, barf-a-rama. Saved with a Chalkdust jam and party Gin. "
